Aline Mays-Easley is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Dothan, Alabama. Aline has over 18 years of clinical experience working as a trauma-informed mental health counselor with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She has worked in various settings, including juvenile justice, mental health agencies, advocacy centers, schools, and private practice. Her clinical experience and training focus on using modalities such as Trauma-informed Cognitive Behavioral (TF-CBT), Mindfulness, Psychodynamic, and Family Systems approaches.
Aline completed her undergraduate degree in Counseling Psychology at California State University-Fresno and her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at National University- La Jolla in Fresno, California. She completed her internship at Community Behavioral Health inpatient mental health center in Fresno, California, providing individual and group therapy. She focused on helping people work through Adversity of Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and trauma history. Aline’s primary focus is to help her clients achieve hope and healing from their emotional trauma, mental health issues, divorce or separation, abuse, changes in the family structure, and emotional dysregulation as they recover from adverse life experiences.
